| Introduction | In September 2011 I graduated from the Open University with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. I have also been working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Creative Writing at Newcastle University, and I am now studying an MA in Creative Writing at Newcastle. I can't work, because of the disabling nature of my brittle asthma, that lands me in hospital every few weeks, but I try to make the most of life when I'm able. Much to the consternation of my asthma consultant, I have a cat. Zach is a crazy, black cat with psychotic tendencies, but I love him and he's great company (though I'm not too fond of being chewed by him) >^..^< Other things about me: I'm a Christian and an active member of the church I go to, where I also have lots of wonderful friends. My friends are my second family and I value them immensely, and this is inclusive of many fantastic friends I have made online through various groups and fora. Some attributes I consider to be of primary importance are honesty, loyalty, compassion, generosity of self, genuosity (is that a word? Maybe it's genuineness), fun and laughter. |
