| Introduction | The Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA), formed in 1975, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that works toward: promoting a cleaner and safer neighborhood; uniting residents in common causes; cooperating with city government and other neighborhood associations in the brownstone revival; facilitating communication of important neighborhood views; representing local residents at various city meetings; upgrading Hamilton Park and its immediate environs; effectively serving the interests and need of the citizenry of downtown Jersey City; serving as a sounding board for the opinions of the residents of the area. |
