| Introduction | I am a single parent of two lovelies, poet and obsessed food enthusiast living in Seattle. I started this because I've stopped writing for almost two decades now. I know I'm not the only one who's had the "real world" step in somewhere in life and found it hard to follow their passion and be responsible at the same time. In a nutshell, I've let the fire in me get down to an ember. But ... I'm carrying it now. A friend asked me some time ago what I've always wanted to do. His question and my answer simmered over the past few months. I said that I always wanted to travel internationally and eat like Bourdain - but instead of a food show, I'd rather write about my experiences. Well, I still like that idea for local eats but want to also talk about my cooking and the stories behind them. Anyways, I'd like to write about all the things I LOVE.
