Introduction	These are my thoughts as I continue on this therapeutic journey through recovery from sex and love addiction, compulsive overeating and codependency, as well as the lifelong effects of childhood sexual abuse.

Favorite movies	Stand By Me, American Beauty, As Good as it Gets, Capote, Brokeback Mountain, Silence of the Lambs, Shawshank Redemption, Steel Magnolias and a million others -- some chick flicks and other political drama.
Favorite music	I love music of all types. I grew up listening to country music, discovered Southern rock, took music appreciation, found some Herman Hermits in my brother's collection, and realized the Beatles, not Elvis Presley were the true musical revolution. I love Natalie Merchant, Bonnie Raitt, Allison Kraus, Kenny Chesney, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Corrine Bailey Rae and everything in between.
Favorite books	Beach Music, Cider House Rules, Freedom Song, The Namesake, The Essential Neruda, Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book, Dark Side of the Light Chasers and most anything that's not science fiction.
