Introduction	I'm a history student focusing on WWI propaganda and turn-of-the-century social reform. I've realized that soldiers, students, and civilians said some really funny things about their lives and the war. I started this blog to share some of the poetry, comics, and parodies through which they mocked the difficulties of the war years.

Favorite music	Glenn Miller, The Moody Blues, Of Monsters and Men, Gordon Lightfoot, The Hoola Bandoola Band, The Final Cut (Pink Floyd album), folk rock, '70s folk rock, and whaling songs. I also currently enjoy Kassidy, Guster, Keane, and J.D. McPherson.
