| Introduction | Writing and talking about cars has been my passion for many years. In 2003, aged 17, I did my first work experience placement with the BBC's Top Gear and I went back in 2004. In December of that year I also entered the Guild of Motoring Writers' Sir William Lyons Award. I didn't win. However, I entered again in 2005 and this time was successful and subsequently had a work experience placement with Auto Express, one of the most widely read motoring publications in the UK. In the summer of 2006, I worked with Automotive PR, the leading automotive PR consultancy operating in Europe, North America, China and other global markets. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 2007 and spent one year as a Sabbatical Officer, trustee and Chair of the Board of Directors at Warwick Students' Union, working predominantly on issues of finance and governance. I joined Automotive PR on a permanent basis in 2008. |
