IntroductionAfter researching Islam for about 3 years, I’ve come to appreciate the profound depth, beauty, and rational core of the faith. While I am a self-proclaimed scholar and do not claim the authority or credentials of a traditionally trained alim, my passion for Islam and sincere dedication to knowledge have led me down a path of rigorous study, questioning, and personal ijtihad. I identify as a hadith skeptic, not in the sense of rejecting hadith altogether, but in the sense of approaching them critically, even if classified as 'sahih'. I believe that blind acceptance, without reasoned analysis or context, contradicts the very spirit of the Qur’an, which repeatedly urges us to reflect, think, and question. My method leans toward logic and reason, the usul al-fiqh of critical minds. I also frequently engage with fatwa discourse, often re-evaluating traditional rulings, especially where I’ve found that certain things deemed 'haram' by some scholars may not hold up under deeper scrutiny or in light of Qur’anic principles. This blog, Ijtihad Thinkers Hub, is a space where I share insights, research, and reflections based on the knowledge I’ve gathered.
