Introduction	I'm a guy who feels sort of like I've had a born again experience. Sorry,a non-religious one, yet one that still requires alot of faith. My rebirth began about noon on March 28, 04 after having my heart stilled,chilled and "cabbaged",(coronary artery bypass grafted). Thus, having survived open heart double bypass surgery, a new lease was granted... or so it seemed to me anyway. Before that, I'd had a number of careers, and since then after passing through what is known as "sternal precautions" period in recovery, I've been a trucker running small enclosed trailers and cars to markets mainly east of the Mississippi. I'm hoping that some other prior careers from crab farmer in The Caribbean to tree planter in the North West US, to scuba instructor, I can bring to bear on informing this blog.

Favorite movies	Dr Zhivago, Shakespeare In Love, The Fisher King, AI, Man For All Seasons, One Flew Over.... Cuckoos Nest, and lots I can't bring to mind just now
Favorite music	Mozart, Beatles, Brahms, CSNY, Beethoven, Reggae, Bach, and well, I just gotta say Led Zeppelin too, as well as a whole lot more than I can mention here
Favorite books	C'mon, I'll be here forever, but Grapes Of Wrath and Dr Zhivago are great novels

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying "poop deck"?

I'd bite down on my knife and get my but up the rattlings that much faster to avoid laughing!
