| Introduction | In 1945, I was born on the Brown family farm near Spring Creek in Douglas County MO. My Brown ancestors came to Bryant Creek in Douglas County around 1837. My Hartley family came to the area of Webster County now know as Seymour MO in 1839. Proud of my Ozarks heritage, I love to study and write about Douglas County and its families, especially my own. |
