| Introduction | I am in no way an expert on anything. I am merely a girl who enjoys a good film, and has a fairly wide range in taste (though horror/scary movies are not my thing - I have a way too active imagination to go there - trust me, I've tried). My hope is to open peoples eyes to some of the maybe more obscure films, older ones that shouldn't be forgotten, foreign ones that should be tried, and the some new ones here and there (because hey, I'd like to see a blockbuster too). You will not at the end of every post I give a rating of 1-5 remote controls. I chose the to use remotes instead of thumbs, bags or popcorn, or stars, because I believe the remote is both the most fearsome foe and greatest ally of movies. It speeds them up or stops them completely if the film is no good, but it also beings the movie life when you hit play, and backtracks allowing you to view the film over and over again if it's good. |
