| Introduction | On 1st August 2010 I will be heading to West Africa, for two years, to take up the position of Teacher Trainer in Nigeria with the charity VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas). Nigeria continues to be ranked as one of the poorest countries in the world with an estimated 9 million children not attending school. Working with the local communities I will support improvements in the quality, relevance and accessibility of basic education in the Jigawa State of Northern Nigeria. |
