Introduction	Hi! I am the Head of the English Department at Otaki College, on New Zealand's Kapiti Coast. Otaki College is a small rural high school with a 50% Maori roll. I've been teaching since 2004, before that I was a Senior Policy Analyst at the NZ Ministry of Education. I love reading, I love teaching, I love Shakespeare, I love movies, and most of the time I love my students and my job! I am working at integrating more ICT use into my classroom English programmes. I want to use IT to encourage student and teacher self-reflection, and to get feedback on the teaching and learning programme from students and, hopefully, parents. Favorite music	Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Joan Armatrading, Tracy Chapman, Van Morrison, the Mozart Requiem, Handel's Messiah, any Gilbert and Sullivan and lots of other stuff.
Favorite books	The Bible, Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, the Narnia books, Harry Potter, the Chalet School books by E M Brent-Dyer, and I could go on for a long time...
