| Introduction | Current passion: translating a novel diagnostic imaging modality (Multiphoton microscopy) from bench to bedside. Near-future goal: to give this passion a social dimension, by investigating mechanisms whereby biomedical diagnostic/therapeutic devices can be made available cheaply in resource poor parts of the world.
