Introduction | As of June 26, 2014 I'll have finished 13 years of teaching and coordinating technology at P.S. 11. I am a strong believer in using technology to augment the curriculum work throughout the school. I believe as Chris Lehmann stated the technology should be like oxygen, ubiquitous, necessary, and invisible. But for that to become a reality I also believe that technology in schools need coordinating, which means supporting the people who use the machines: Students, Teachers, Parents, and Administrators. For some background on me, before my current position I taught 2 years as the technology coordinator in a private school in California. I also spent 10 year as a retail store manager in various Tower Record Stores across the country. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History / Education from Beloit College. I moved to Manhattan in 1992 where I earned my MSEd in Elementary Education from Bank Street College and then an MS in Instructional Technology from Touro College.
