| Introduction | Hi, I'm a Mom! I have two children. One was delivered by a doctor in a hospital in Utah and another was delivered by a midwife in my home in South Texas. Both births were smooth and natural. Angels were present to attend me at each place. The professionals that delivered my babies were skilled and knowledgeable- and I have two healthy children to prove it! And now I am pregnant again, expecting my third little one in March 2010. So why did I start this blog? To learn more about birth options for me and others who are expecting (or soon to be expecting) in the Corpus Christi Area. I seek out information regarding the best care for mothers and newborns. I acknowledge that the topic of birth choices can be controversial. I respect every woman and her right to a physiological birth. I ask that all who post or comment on this blog do the same. I invite every person that visits this blog to join me on a quest for more education, better dialogue, a love for those who bring new life into our world and a desire to better serve those sweet little cherubs that come bright eyed and innocent into our arms. -Carrie |
