| Introduction | I am a Primary school teacher and live in Birmingham. Have been an active socialist for 20 years within the Labour Party having been politisised as a teenager by the Miners Strike (1984), the Anti Apartheid Movement and CND. Recently resigned from Labour Party to join the Green Party where the analysis of the environmental challenge we face goes beyond the lifestyle choices of light bulbs, recycling and turning your heating down. The Green Party has recognised the need to fundamentally revolutionise the economic system if we are to make the difference necessary to combat Climate Change. |
