| Introduction | I am part time working mum struggling with the formalities of the French language - but it is good for me I tell myself! I have two young kids, a husband and have lived in rural France since 2005. I love photography, writing, gardening, country life, creating and cooking. We moved to France to improve the quality of our lives, start a family and live in the country with a big veg garden. My kids were both born in France and are already bilingual – with my oldest correcting my French all the time. My daughter was the first child born in our village for 28 years – needless to say they are the only kids in the village, except for 2 weeks of the year when our sleep village gets invaded by families with holiday homes. Life sometimes gets challenging but on the whole I am very lucky to be living the life we do with a wonderful husband, two beautiful kids and chickens that need to lay more to keep up with our pancake habit! We have some wonderful friends and a very handsome cat - we could not ask for more. |
