| Introduction | I am an advocate for children who are waiting to be adopted by loving families. I am not an adoption agency or an adoption facilitator and I cannot refer you to any of these children. I will guide you to other resources if you want to pursue adoption of any of the children in this blog. This is something I do as a volunteer because my kind, gentle, and loving father was once a waiting child who was given a second chance at a family. I am an adoptee, as is my husband. I have a handsome 17 year old biological son and a beautiful 19 year old daughter-of-my-heart in Ukraine. I hope to soon to be an adoptive mother. The information I provide is given to me with best intentions by a volunteer who knows these children, and every attempt is made to be accurate. However, there are unknowns in adoption, charts aren't always completed, family histories aren't always recorded, and sometimes the information we have doesn't reflect the child as well as it should. My purpose here is to help other children find that second chance. So many orphans live without hope, but every child deserves a chance. Every child deserves a family. |
