Introduction	I am an economist, in the sense of an independent thinker. As I am not part of the university professional status group, I used to prefer to say I was a "private scholar." I think a little better here is to say independent thinker.
Interests	Economic theory, promotion of U.S. as a democratic society respecting human rights and freedoms, within the context of being a unified cultural system, rather than anarchy, libertarianism, or individualism.
