| Introduction | One of my favorite poets and philosophers is King David of Judah, he captures the spectrum of human emotion in his psalms. Yet one of my favorite parts of his poetry isn't the poems, it is one repeating word: Selah. Selah... to dwell on, to meditate upon, to go deeper than what the surface is saying. This is why I write, this is what I write. The selah of my everyday thoughts and observations. I hope that you read in that same mindset. Not just to read, and let the words like waves pass over you; but to move with the words, to ponder them and test their truth. |
