Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
It is easiest to remove the peel from an apple in a single piece when using a manual peeler/corer. My mother had one when I was a child; it hooked to the table like a vise, and there was a crank used to turn the apple under the blade. Just this morning I was just thinking about doing that when I was a kid.
