Introduction	Who am I? I’m a mom with an asterisk. I used to be a normal mom. Now I’m a mom*. I have all of these extra titles or addendums. I’m a bio mom (to an awesome 8 year old boy). I’ve been a foster mom and now I’m an adoptive mom for a 3 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. I'm a student mom trying to make my way through graduate school. I'm also an epilepsy mom. My daughter has a rare and severe type of genetic epilepsy called PCDH19. I thought that my family's story was going to be all about our journey through adoption but right now the focus is on surviving that diagnosis. We are trying to hold onto our faith and each other. Sometime we succeed and sometimes we don't.
