Introduction	john toohey is a wildly prolific artist living and working in vermont with his wife and two daughters. john, 28, has worked as an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer in vermont for the past ten years in a wide range of disciplins include theatre and puppet theatre design/fabrication, book illustration and fabrication, portraiture, concept illustration, commissioned work and irezumi tattoo. toohey has shown work at galleries across vermont and new england including hardwick, johnson, barre, and montpelier vermont, and boston.toohey will graduate from johnson state college at the end of the fall 09' semester holding a bachelor's degree in art.
