Introduction I love writing stories - with a familiar twist. I always write about a real event, situation or person that I do not want to forget. Some people write journal entries; I write simple stories. In the words of Henry David Thoreau, I just love the process of 'driving life into a corner and reducing it to its lowest terms'. Simple everyday stories represent that challenge on so many levels. The Tomorrow Trunk is full of stories. It is a kind of literary inheritance for my children - an inheritance of substance! In addition to one day dividing a material or monetary inheritance that will be eventually lost, tossed or spent, they will receive an inheritance of stories that will continue to multiply with each generation.
