Introduction	I am the head media specialist at The Galloway School in Atlanta, and I love books for middle and high school kids. I have co-authored four books about using nonfiction books to get kids excited about reading, and I was a member of the 2006 Robert F. Sibert Award committee. I have a masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA from The College of William and Mary in Virginia. Before moving to Atlanta I worked at Olson Middle School in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Interests	Children's and young adult literature, enjoying the outdoors (camping, hiking, canoeing, running), travel, folk music, singing, Survivor and LOST, and sock monkeys
