| Introduction | I live in NW Arkansas and married to a fantastic man. We have a 3 year old son (soon to be 4 in October). I love staying at home being the "June Cleaver" of the household! Okay, that may be a bit extreme but I do love it! Even though my son keeps me busy and the house chores as well, I still get "bored" and need to do something different. Fortunately for me, I had all these friends that were having babies. I wanted to get them something that was made specially for them. So my first project was the hair bow hanger for my friend's little girl. I sat down at my desk doodling sketches trying to invision the board in my mind. The end result was adorable!! I fell in love with it and so did my girlfriend! The next shower was for a set of twin boys and I thought "I can't make them hair bow hangers, what can I make them?" So a little light bulb went off and I thought convert the board to memory boards, and so I did. They were just too cute! I have made a handful of boards since then, both hair bow hangers and memory boards and it dawned on me...why not do this for everyone else that appreciates beauty and functionality at the same time? So then "Just Board" was born. |
