| Introduction | Although complex, I am always searching for ways to simplify my life. I try to hang on to what is important: the few things my parents left me tangibly, and the many things that were given me as an intellectual legacy and a moral legacy. I love my children and grandchildren, I love beauty and nature. More than anything I have tried to hang on to my sense of humor through the many changes I have been thrown into. I try to forgive myself for my mistakes and move on. There is always something around the corner that I feel I can look forward to, even with my advancing years. The difference about me I believe is my joie de vivre, my enthusiasm for life and people - and spontaneity. Though it got me into trouble many times, I still value it! |
