| Introduction | Gary Whitten has spent his entire professional career in visual marketing communications, with over 30 yrs of progressive experience in all facets of Art Direction, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photo Retouch, Product Photography, Design & Production for Print Advertising. Clients have included some of the most high profile companies in Phoenix & nationwide. His specific experience includes: 15 years as a Corporate Art Director, 4 yrs. Agency/print production, 2 yrs in Engineering Publications and 11 yrs as a freelance Technical Illustrator. He is not only a Macintosh® guru (25 yrs.), but also an Old School illustrator with his first 12 yrs. on the drawing board. Before his mastery of Adobe Illustrator® & Photoshop® software, he was an accomplished Airbrush illustrator & photo retoucher, working also in mixed media and pen & ink! His creative strengths are both right & left brained as depicted in his diverse portfolio of detailed product illustrations as well as Hotrod cartoons, Caricatures and Amusement Game Graphics! |
