| Introduction | I'm an extremely proud grandmother of two beautiful young ladies, and an equally proud mom of two fine and handsome and smart young men. I have two felines who think they are human, Lucy is now 21 and Quincy is 12 (as of 2014). Molly and Tommy are in kitty heaven now, but Lucy, Molly and Tommy's named provided me with the acronym for my screen name, Lumoto.that I created in about '94.. My life is quite simple, and I like it that way. Retirement is my dream and tranquility is my goal. On the night of September 23-24, 2005, Beaumont, Texas, played host to Hurricane Rita. After returning from evacuation - in my case, Little Rock, Arkansas - a new chapter in my life began, my own saga of recovery. I started this blog as my journal of my recovery, how I dealt with repairs and challenges and the people I met along the way trying to achieve it. With all that now behind me, I have intermittently made entries here since, always with the self-promise to post more regularly, but I rarely keep promises to myself.
