Introduction	I am a stay at home wife, mom, home school teacher and caregiver, for my hubby and children. I have been wanting to start a blog for family and friends to follow our adoption journey as well a conduct a fundraiser. I got this idea of doing both on this blog (with permission!) from another family who is adopting as well and doing a fundraiser by making bags. (link posted). we started making these blankets a year ago as a family project to raise money to sponsor a special needs childs heart or cleft palate surgery. Thanks to the many friends and family who helped sew or purchased blankets we were able to donate over $1,000! Praise Him! And THANK YOU! The blankets were such a big hit with many more request comming in that we decided to keep making them as long as I could get the fabric. This time they will be sold to donate to the cost of bringing our precious children home to us from an orphanage. Thank you for all your suport and encouragement!
