| Introduction | I was taught to knit the most basic stitches by my granny when I was a young child. As I went through my teenage years I thought knitting was only for people with big slippers and blankets over their knees. I was wrong... I have picked up the needles again within the last couple of years and I have become addicted. I have realised there are endless things to create and just don't have enough hours in the day to put all my ideas onto needles. I must give thanks to my boyfriend's mum who has reignited my passion for knitting and guides me through the maze of knitting patterns and abbreviations.. |
