Introduction	As an adopted infant into a rich, fairly crazy family in CT, I had a lot of advanatages such as a wonderful education, trips abroad and access to interesting people like Katharine Hepburn and Eleanor Roosevelt. But when my father died, my controlling mother made life miserable for me and concocted a scheme with the willing co-operation of doctors which could have killed me. However, I escaped the scam and live happily with my husband of 21 years.
