| Introduction | Jeremy has been designing and building original metal artwork since the late 1990s. His work draws on a range of techniques including forming, forging, embossing, repousse, welding, patination and fabrication using sheet metal and solid stock. Projects range from jewelry to decorative artwork, sculpture and custom commissions. He works primarily with copper and other malleable metals, chosen for their natural beauty and ability to be stretched, shaped and formed. The resulting work is often biomorphic and tactile. Built by forging and welding, but shaped in a way that feels grown rather than constructed. |
