| Introduction | I was once a sculptor in New Orleans. Then I was an Army officer. Then I stayed in Human Intelligence / Counterintelligence as a civilian for several more years. I spent about 3.5 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. I loved the work, but hated the desert, and began to suspect that law or something closely related to it may be my true calling. It was time to come home. The career change and choice to return to Oxford, Mississippi, for law school after so many years away, proved spot-on. I'm a cook, baker, poker player, rescued dog/cat owner, and immigration gatekeeper in Midtown Memphis. |
