| Introduction | Alan Gilbert was born and lives in the port city of Southampton on the south coast of England. Educated at The West of England School and St Lloys college in Exeter he then went on to take his degree in art and psychology at The Open University, graduating in 1984. Alan then worked for an international company until taking early retirement to concentrate on writing poetry. He enjoys swimming, reading and has an extensive music collection. Alan has published four books to date. All that Rhymes with Love, Love is a Dreamer, The Echo of Heartbeats and his new release, Way Beyond words. |

| Favorite music | I enjoy a wide range of music including classical, Country, rock, pop Celtic, Cajun. I particularly like piano music. anything other than jazz really. |
| Favorite books | Poetry, psychology, philosophy, Eric Fromm, Agatha Christi, James Herbert, James Patterson, Robert Ludlum. So many more but I have not had enough time for reading lately, must change that. |
