| Introduction | A lifelong Bible student (since 1955) who loves to explore biblical meanings. Educated at Baylor University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, University of Texas at Arlington, Southeast Missouri State, and Vanderbilt University. I am fascinated with New Testament words and concepts, and the various ways people understand them. My life has been a voyage of discovery motivated by a deep faith in God and a curiosity to know him better. I believe that all truth of any kind belongs to God. He knows the truth about all things, and we are to spend our lives searching for it, while trusting him to lead us. I feel no need to defend the truth of any kind. Truth is truth and that cannot be changed, only misunderstood. It is what it is. We are simply to share the insight which we have gained. We probably only "touch the hem of the garment" with our understandings of the Father and his universe. I believe our understanding of God and his ways is most accurate when discovered in the life and teachings of Jesus. He has shown us the Father, and he is good. |
