Introduction	Hi. I am Carrie. I am an Ocular Melanoma Warrior. January 2011 I was diagnosed with eye cancer. I thought if I had radiation plaque therapy that I was "good to go" even though I would be blind in one eye. It would take me one year to find the truth and the facts. OM Warriors have cancer for life. This is a rare, aggressive, and often fatal cancer that doesn't respond to traditional treatments and chemotherapy. I have started this blog to share my journey, educate others about the seriousness of OM, and to celebrate life. Eye Cancer IS Unsightly. Cancer is unsightly. But I choose LIFE! I have HOPE!
