About me

Introduction Five years ago (year 2002), my wife and I decided that we would live healthier lives and make fitness a priority. Since then, I can say that I've surpassed my personal goals and can say as well that this is the fittest I've ever been my whole life. Since 2004, I've been joinning running and triathlon races and have managed to convert my wife into a running addict as well. As a routine, I regularly workout doing strength training in the gym, road work (bike and run), and swimming. To break the monotony I play badminton regularly with my wife, brothers, my sisters-in-law, and some friends. On Oct 16, 2007, just when I was preparing for a 21 K (half marathon)race, I suffered a huge setback. I tore my ACL and was told by my doctor that I'll be out for 4 to 6 months. I believe though that this is all it is, a minor setback. That's why, I decided to create this blog, to document my journey to full recovery and my eventual return to fitness.
