Introduction | Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. I am an artist who works in pastels and oils and loves doing figures, still lifes, animals and an occasional landscape. I'm rather new to this art, really getting started after retiring from my teaching career. I take workshops whenever I'm able and frequently meet and paint with friends who give me honest feedback about and suggestions for my work. I do a lot of pushing forward on my own with some successes and some failures. But even the failures teach me so much. However, I think the learning curve overall is generally upward. This is what I love doing and feel I have gained experience, knowledge and wonderful friends in my efforts. |
