| Introduction | My career has been built upon innovative programs and policies in both the government and private sectors. Each postion has required an in-depth understanding of complex issues, an appreciation of different bureaucratic, political, and international perspectives, the need to forge alliances and create a team that would work toward a common objective. I have founded two corporations and led them in all aspects of their organization, capital formation, marketing, and operations. In doing so, I have gained the ability to approach issues with an open, enquiring mind. I am now at a stage in which I have the flexibility to apply all of the skills and experiences gained so far toward commenting on some of the most important issues facing us today. |
