| Introduction | I am a mom of 4 amazing kids and married for 25 years. My oldest 2 kids have graduated from college, 1 from Duke and the other from Harvard. My 3rd child is a sophomore at Wake Forest. I picked up and moved all the way across the country for my 14 year old to pursue her acting/singing career. I am completely and utterly amazed at my kids. Years of hard work and dedication haves led to their success. I am proud of how hard they work, the passion they have for achieving their goals, and mostly for their desire to help others. They are not perfect, they are unique, and they are loved! I try to have a meaningful life and positive outlook. I believe all my success stems from this philosophy along with a deep faith in God and understanding I am powerless to His will. I didn't always understand that happiness is a way of life and not a destination. I searched for years trying to find answers to questions that truly don't define who I am or my ultimate happiness. It wasn't until I stopped searching and accepted my vulnerability that I began to grow as a person. I am a work in progress and I AM ENOUGH. I am not perfect - far from it - but I LOVE MY LIFE - IT IS MINE! |
