Introduction	The last 8 years I have been instructing computer software usage at Holbrook Junior High School. Since 2005 IC3(Internet and Computing Core Certification) curriculum has provided the framework for skills students acquire. Through the IC3 course I have been able to assist students in learning digital literacy skills. Not only do they learn basic skills but also are able to take certification tests which validates skills and prepares students for the world. HJHS IC3 students have placed the highest on the Arizona State TechLiteracy Assessment for 2 years. The students have participated in the IC3 Competition. The 2006 competition was for North America only; the students took 4th place out of 35 Junior High and High School Teams. The 2007 competition include 85 junior high, high and college teams from through-out the world. HJHS Students placed 6th World Wide and 2nd in the United States! I am thrilled to be able to offer such a wonderful opportunity as the IC3 Certification to students. The skills they learn will help them be successful in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
