About me

IntroductionIn the field of Natural Resource Management (NRM), Kelly is the Team Leader of Catchment Coordination at Lower Murray Darling Catchment Management Authority where she implements river and floodplain projects. Situated in the south-west corner of New South Wales, this catchment lies within Australia’s significant Murray-Darling Basin. Holding a BSc and currently completing a Dip (Project Management), her professional background is varied. She has worked in graphic arts, forestry, tourism, hospitality and now NRM. She has owned and operated a restaurant and conducted tours on horseback. A keen and active softball player and coach, Kelly has represented her state and country. She has two children (Esperance and Inji, 8 & 9 yrs) interested in the world and its ways and a menagerie of animals on a suburban block. A past Chair of the Mildura Young Professionals Network, her commitment to personal and community growth and development is strong. Never described as shy, Kelly enjoys sports and spending time in the outdoors, friends and family, catching a movie, digging in her veggie patch, reading and scouring through garage sales and second-hand shops for treasures.
