About me

Introduction Ann Burgund is an Emmy Award-winning film producer for her work on the television series Sesame Street. She produced 80 films for the show, most of them about nature and the environment. After working in Manhattan for over 25 years as a writer/producer, Ann moved to Los Angeles where she developed and associate produced The Mask, a feature film starring Jim Carrey. Ann then moved to Seattle to become head writer/editor for the Microsoft Office web site. Subsequently, she has worked as a consultant for several content-rich, integrated media online projects. As Content Specialist for CTB/McGraw-Hill, she headed a team of renowned children’s authors who wrote stories for educational products. Ann recently served as a consultant to National Geographic School Publishing producing materials to address the high drop out rate in America’s high schools. Ann is now fulfilling her long held dream of creating healing art. Working in oil and cold waxt, her style is the atmosphere of the moment. She allows the presence of the now -- lightly, simply, quietly -- to be the essence of her art.
