| Introduction | Reading has always been one of the great joys of my life. A good book envelops me in a cocoon of friendship, mystery, adventure, and romance. Rich reading experiences are necessary for children as their literacy skills develop. I want to help kids get excited about reading so their world is as wide as they want it to be. I also want to encourage more adults to read to the children in their lives. |

| Favorite movies | Old black and white sassy comedies with dancing and witty repartee, romantic comedies, historial period pieces and offbeat funky independent films. |
