Introduction | I am author of the novel "Violent Night," the story of Houston teenagers who escape a category 5 hurricane and a pshychotic killer to survive the Apocalypse and live with Christ on The Other Side. I am Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 1197 in Houston, as I have been for 25 years. I enjoy sharing America with Scouts on our road trips, and they beg me to tell them campfire stories that scare them! I am a baby-boomer who has a collection of 7,000 recordings on vinyl, cassette singles, and even 8-track tapes! My "day job" is an audio technician. Therefore I am a dinosaur! But some folks still want to listen to real analog music. Those of you who think MP-3 is music don't know what you are missing. I was born in Montana, raised in Oklahoma City, and graduated high school in Houston, Texas. |

When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
No, but they made me sweep up the mess.
