| Introduction | I was born in Belfast, N. Ireland. At the age of 18, I came to Utah, USA to attain a more fulfilling life. It has been an amazing journey. I have attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, and Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. After my 4 children were grown, I returned to school and earned a nursing degree. After working for almost 6 years as an RN, I decided I didn't enjoy the medical setting as much as I'd hoped for, and quit my job as a homehealth nurse. For the past 2 years I have been involved in one-on-one tutoring at the elementary school level, and this year attempted substitute teaching. Three years ago I was diagosed with Rheumatoid arthritis/sjogrens, and due to chronic hoarseness, was unable to continue substitute teaching. This coming year I would like to begin tutoring again if possible. My life revolves around my family, of which I am very proud. Love to spend time with them as often as possible. |
