| Introduction | What I am is a wife, mother, and grandmother, but who I am is so much more. This past year has been extraordinary and while I've come to realize I am a lot stronger than I thought I was, I’ve also started to learn who I really am. Through the days, weeks, and months of 2010 I've come to realize the journey I'm on is the common one and I've not made an impact or difference in any significant way. What I now realize is that each day I stand at a fork in the road and must decide whether I will continue down the road of commonality, just accepting each day as it comes, or, do I strive for something more; do I dare to make a difference. Not only do I believe I must daily make a difference, I believe I have an even larger obligation to do so ... |
