Introduction	I'm Miriam, an American/Canadian citizen and an Australian resident who is intensely curious about people and places, and in particular the emerging and established community and economic structures of postindustrial cities and transformational festivals. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Cultural Sustainability at Goucher College, Baltimore, MD, living in Geelong, Australia and looking for opportunities to exploit my curiosity in places of cultural shift. I’m looking everywhere from pole dance studios to community gardens, from ‘the View’ to Burning Man, in an attempt to experience, document and define culture and communities and continue to grow my rad network of community development, urban planning and design and social issue professionals and enthusiasts. I’m giving this project the room to evolve and project itself onto me. I’m a conduit. I’m on an undefined mission. They named a Mars rover after me.
