| Introduction | Our relationships are the most important thing in our lives. Learning more about ourselves and our partners can make a huge difference to our capacity for nurturing relationships that help us to be the best we can be. Breaking free of the stamp of our parents' relationship is invaluable (even if it is/was great, it's theirs!). I am passionate about the potential for couples to come to understand themselves and each other better, with the result being that their relationship becomes stronger, more fulfilling and a place where both receive the nurturing they desire and deserve. The flow-on benefits for children are obvious. Before studying psychotherapy at the Jansen Newman Institute in Sydney, I worked for many years in publishing, both as a writer and editor. For five years I combined both skills and wrote about psychological issues for Notebook magazine, which has now ceased production. I now publish those articles here, with relevant updates. |
